Thomas Rucker Methvin-Faithful Christian

Thomas Rucker Methvin was part of the Student Y chapter of the YMCA at his school in 12th grade, playing a part in deciding the activities the organization would conduct at his school. This allowed him to develop a deeper understanding of the YMCA and the role that it plays in helping young men to find kindred spirits and enjoy activities together.

  1. Thomas Rucker Methvin Faithful Christian Christianity plays a large part in the life of Thomas Rucker Methvin, with many of his decisions being informed by his desire to help people. He was a part of the Young Life Christian Club during 10th and 11th grade and he has taken the values that he learned during this period through with him to his collegiate career and the voluntary work he has done in the years since.

  2. Thomas Rucker Methvin Adullam House Children’s Home Thomas Rucker Methvin worked with the Adullam House Children’s Home between the 9th and 11th grade, volunteering his time to help the organization offer a better service to the people that it helps. He learned a lot about the value of hard work while volunteering with the group, spending much of his time cleaning the kitchen and sweeping floors.

Thomas Rucker Methvin Chess Enthusiast Thomas Rucker Methvin is a big fan of the game of chess, believing that it can help people to develop their minds in addition to providing the opportunity to meet likeminded people. He was a part of his school’s Chess Club when he was in the 12th grade and he regularly took part in tournaments that allowed him to learn more about the game and meet new friends.

  4. Thomas Rucker Methvin A Young Golfer Golf is a game that is particularly close to the heart of Thomas Rucker Methvin and he played the sport on the varsity level in the 9th, 11th and 12th grades. At one point he was the #3 seeded player in the school, demonstrating his dedication to the sport and his desire to improve. He continues to play when he has the opportunity.
