The Bible’s authority comes from being inspired by the Holy Spirit. Explain 2 reasons for why the Bible has authority in faith and morals. **“No prophecy in Scripture can be privately interpreted.” (2 Peter 1:20). Write out this quote. What does this quote say about who can explain what the Bible really means? From the Church. Jesus guaranteed that His Church will not make any mistakes about what to believe. The Church confirms how the teaching in the Bible should be followed.
