The ClusterCOOP launch event, held in Budapest on July 13, 2011, showcased initiatives to foster economic development in Germany by promoting regional technology networks. Led by Lysann Müller from VDI/VDE-IT, the initiative Kompetenznetze Deutschland aims to prepare these networks for global competition. The event discussed successful internationalisation strategies implemented between 2007 and 2010, highlighting cooperation activities, barriers, and the impact of European programs.
