This week in journalism focuses on improving photography through practical assignments and idea brainstorming. Students will engage in major assignments, including Spot News and a Photo Story, due on April 15 and 29, respectively. The curriculum emphasizes understanding significant photojournalistic themes, exploring local issues, and analyzing past iconic works. Students will also be encouraged to take more photos to refine their skills and will participate in class reviews to enhance their storytelling capabilities through images.
