  45. Conclusions (1) BACKGROUND In all surveyed countries, there is a legal obligation to inform and instruct workers about health and safety risks at work. The employer is responsible.

  46. Conclusions (2) PRACTICE In most cases, information and instruction of workers about health and safety risks at work is provided by OHS professionals and company staff. Oral instruction and printed materials are most frequently applied.

  47. Conclusions (3) TRAINING Only 2 out of 10 respondents indicate that training in risk communication is a regular part of the specialist training in occupational medicine.
