NSF Cyberinfrastructure Grant

The proposed upgrade of the DYNES (Dynamic Networked Environment for Science) focuses on enhancing the research cyberinfrastructure by implementing 10 Gbps connections through dynamic VLANs and core routing improvements. This upgrade aims to create a more efficient and robust "Research LAN" that supports both commodity users and dedicated researchers. With the DYNES server and enhanced storage capabilities, the project will facilitate high-performance data transfer and computation across the campus, ultimately fostering innovation and collaboration within the research community.
