WEN Board Structure • All Directors (dark blue boxes) will be elected for one-year terms with the exception of the Director Community Initiatives, who will have a two-year term. The current WEN Bylaws rule concerning term limits will apply. • The Chairpersons of Charity Luncheon, YWE, Luncheons, and Special Events (light blue boxes) will be elected positions. Like the Director positions, all will be for a one-year term with the exception of the Charity Luncheon position, which will be a two-year position. Again, the term limits set forth in the WEN Bylaws for board positions will apply to these elected positions as well. • All other Chairperson positions (the yellow boxes), will be slated by the Director overseeing those positions, subject to WEN Board approval. Term limits are not applicable to these positions. • The Chief of Staff position will be selected by the President and subject to WEN Board approval. • The President will serve as the liaison to the WEN Advisory Council, and the Past President will serve as a member of the Advisory Council for a one-year term. • The President Elect is the Chairperson of Sponsorship/Fundraising and nominating committees. The WEN Contractor and any Summer Interns (the green boxes) will report to the WEN Secretary.
