Enhancing Access to QUT Research Data Through an Institutional Registry

We aim to create a comprehensive institutional data registry (metadata repository) to increase awareness and access to research data generated by QUT. This initiative involves tracking the existence and location of completed datasets associated with QUT research projects while ensuring compliance with funding mandates. Our workflow enables both hybrid self-deposit by researchers and mediated deposit by liaison librarians. We will contribute to national services like Research Data Australia and Trove. Remaining developments include updating the Research Data Finder homepage and integrating QUT authentication.
