  4. In order to improve performances, we need to breakdown techniques and compare them to a model performer. (Model performers could be a teacher, coach, video of a professional [youtube etc] or an advanced player within your class. ) When we breakdown performances, we identify criteria required for the model performance. For example:

  5. Skill: Forward Roll Technique: Tucked Forward Roll

  6. Class Task 1. Identify three techniques in your gymnastics performance which require improvement. (One must be from each element: balance, flight, rotation) 2.
