FONDS Peter Faragopour séjour de courte durée des collaborateurs-trices de FORS à l’étranger • L’idée est de stimuler l’échange entre FORS et des chercheurs/chercheuses et institutions. • Dans un institut de recherche ou une université à l’étranger en rapport avec le travail effectué chez FORS. • Séjour de courte durée : en principe 14 jours – 2 mois • Ouvert à tous collaborateurs et toutes collaboratrices de FORS avec un contrat de durée illimitée • FORS finance le temps de travail plus une partie des dépenses supplémentaires • Demande écrite à soumettre (voir détails dans le guide)

  5. «Groupes transversaux» • The idea: • Increasing interaction, resource and knowledge sharing within FORS and between FORS and the SSP faculty • Increasing capacity and knowledge to run surveys within FORS • Threegroups in place: • «Recherche méthodologique» • «Enquêtes internes et mandats externes» • Collaboration FORS-UNIL

  6. «Groupe transversal recherche méthodologique» Chair: Oliver Lipps(new: Oliver Lipps will transfertothe Survey unit) Members: At FORS: Nicolas Pekari, Michèle Ernst Staehli, Michael Ochsner, MariekeVoorpostel, Erika Antal, Brian Kleiner SSP: Caroline Roberts and New Post-Doc Tasks • Definition of priorities for methodological research • Definition of teams for each of the priorities • Definition and planning of activities and products/output • Follow-up and reporting of the activities

  7. «Groupe transversal enquêtes internes et mandats externes» Chair: Nicolas Pekari Members: Patricia Milbert, Laura Scaperrotta, Eliane Ferrez, Florence Lebert, Boris Wernli Tasks • Development and update of know-how and expertise for survey data collection web/paper within FORS • Support in establishing budgets for internal data collections • Support in planning, starting and follow-up of fieldwork for internal data collections • Reporting and documentation of know-how and actives

FORS publications • Visibility of FORS publications: • New thematic entry page with abstracts, summaries on our website and publications themselves • Scientific publications of FORS staff: Journal articles, book chapters, books, working papers, etc. • Publications from FORS (see below) • Streamlining our publication activities: • FORS Working Papers (responsibility Marieke Voorpostel) • FORS Techncial Papers (responsibility «Groupe transversal recherche methodologique»: Oliver Lipps, Boris Wernli in collaboration with Franziska Ehrler) • Social Change in Switzerland and DeFacto (and newspaper articles etc.) for a broader audience
