  2. Evidence With Power Acts 1:7-8 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive powerwhen the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses…”

  3. Evidence With Power Acts 1:8 “you shall be My witnesses…” Means: “We preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness.” 1 Cor. 1:23 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1 Cor. 1:24

  4. Evidence With Power The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Cor. 10:4-5 (NIV)
