  1. Action items – July 30,2004 • Issues to bring to SAS Core meeting (Heather?): • Systems tests should be looked at by the people that create the code • Bear in mind that THE CODE goes to em release and I&T relies on it (a complete rewrite of CalDigi and CalUtil occurred to handle individual gains and noise per channel , with bugs…) • We need to handle it better since it affected I&T • I&T also needs to look at it, and we are doing so… • GEM decoding (see below) • Documentation for merit ntuple • To whom do we send comments? Who implements it? • Elapsed_time and run does not conform with variable name convention (?) • MIP presentation (CAL+TKR) (Dario): • Sasha pointed out low efficiency for MIP selection, • Blll explained that CalTwrGap tails can be explained by tracks that go through the CAL without hitting the crystals and the value then becomes larger • GEM presentation (Anders): • Come up with a baseline proposal for implementation for the next meeting • GLT words in MC come from digis not from GEM • GEM is not in the MC simulation (deadtime for example which was one of the workshop assignments) • GEM will go into TDS unpacked • Each vector becomes a variable in the merit ntuple • Bit description will be available • Arrays to be added in the SVAC analysis file • Many configurations (details to follow later) • Eduardo and Luis to talk about trigger primitives

  2. Action items – July 30,2004 • Tracker/ToT presentation: • Eduardo recognized importance of rewrite of TkrRecon • we need to coordinate changes to em release to make sure we minimize the pain from all sides (SAS/I&T) • Leon is a bit unsure who is providing TOT calibration constants and when they are needed • Eduardo will talk to Hiro/Johann • Eduardo to ask Hiro/Italy about studying time dependence of noisy strips • feedback to Leon on expectations from hardware (i.e. there may be many intermittent noisy strips during I&T) • Traudl suggested dead/noisy distinction to be made • MC energy and time presentation (Toby): • Muons with TKR triggers: 10 MeV triggers in MC file • Bill suggested Toby check angular dependence • Elapsed_time does not correspond to reality • Time should be elapsed seconds from Jan 1 2001 midnight • Eduardo to find out what and when the fix is needed • Cal Diode presentation (David): • Postponed to next week
