Module 8 Using Navigatorto Gather Information About Occupations Access Navigatorat http://navigator.kuder.com(or other custom URL, if applicable) and follow the instructions below. • Sign on by entering the username and password you created when you signed on the first time. • Select Explore Occupations and then click Occupations Suggested by Assessment Results. • Click on the title of any occupation you want to learn about. Give special consideration to those that are suggested by both the interests and skills assessments results. 8-5 Direct Your Future

Module 8 Using Navigatorto gather information about occupations, cont’d • Read all sections of information about each occupation. • Watch the video about the occupation. • If available, print the description of the occupation. • If this occupation appeals to you, save it in your portfolio by clicking on the star. • If you want to consider this occupation as one of your top three, complete Activity 19: Learning About Favorite Occupations. • Repeat this process for two other occupations. 8-6 Direct Your Future

  7. Module 8 Homework for Next Session • Choose one occupation from today’s research that appeals to you. • Call or visit a person who works in that occupation. • Use Activity 20: Information Interview as the basis for your interview. 8-7 Direct Your Future
