It is less tried yet delicious variety of Vada. Unlike the dal Vada, Rava Vada is crispier and tastier. Though Rava Vada is crispier, it is softer from inside like the dal Vada. Rava Vada is very easy to make and it can also be made quickly at home. Rava Vada tastes best with hot tea and any of the chutneys of your choice. It is one of the best evening time snacks.   2. Take in a large bowl, fine Rava, chopped onions, finely chopped ginger, green chilies, chopped coriander leaves and chopped curry leaves. Add cumin seeds and crushed peppercorns to the mixture. Then add curd as well. Now add ¼ tsp baking soda and salt as required. Mix all the ingredients together. Now cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for about half an hour. Mix it well again after half an hour. Now grease your palms with little ​Sundew Refined Sunflower Oil and make Vada balls out of the mixture. Place the balls on a zip lock bag or banana leaf to flatten them and make a gap in the center. Simultaneously heat Sundew Refined Sunflower Oil for deep frying. Now remove the flattened Vada and gently place it in oil. Fry the Rava Vada both sides until golden in color on a medium flame. Remove the Rava Vada and place it on a tissue paper draining the excess oil. Finish frying the remaining Vadas in the same manner.
