  1. Bronze Age and The Iron Age

  2. How bronze was made Bronze was made by melting copper and tin together. First bronze bars were melted .Then the hot metal was poured into a mould, allowed to cool and set .

  3. Where did they live? Houses in the Bronze Age were usually built in a round shape using natural materials and had a hearth (fire) in their centre for warmth, light and cooking. Grass was sometimes grown on the roof to help insulate it.

  4. What did they eat? Bronze age people had a separate house to cook in.They filled up a small hole with water and boiled the water using large hot stones from the fire. Meat was wrapped in straw to keep it clean as it boiled in the water.

  5. WEAPONS The metal used most was bronze, which is a mix of copper and tin.It was made by heating the copper until it was a liquid and adding tin. The weapons they made were axe heads, knives, daggers, spears, razors and jewellery.
