  3. Write P if the noun below is plural. Write S if the noun below is singular. • houses • baby • church • tables • books • bus

  5. Add es to make nouns plural that end with: • s • buses • x • taxes • ch • benches • sh • dishes

  6. Add ies to make nouns plural that end with a consonant and a y: • lady • ladies • fry • fries

  7. Some nouns that end in f or fe change to ves when made plural: • calf • calves • knife • knives

  18. CHALLENGE • Write an ad for a garage sale. Tell what kinds of things will be sold there. Remember to write plural nouns correctly.
