  2. Password Recovery The Password Recovery process is necessary when • you forget your Username and/or Password • your account has expired or been disabled ** Accounts become disabled after five unsuccessful login attempts

Option 1 – Hint Q&A There are four basic steps or requirements when choosing this option; Password Recovery Options • Personal Identification Verification • combination of your full SSN and Birth Date or User Name • Online Security Verification • one time entry of a computer generated ‘picture’ code • Answers to your personal Hint Questions • Entry of new Password

Password Recovery Options Option 2 – via Email There are three basic steps or requirements when choosing this option; • Personal Identification Verification -combination of your full SSN and Email Address • Email Verification -message sent to your Email address containing a secure link used to reset your password • Online security Verification -one time entry of a computer generated ‘picture’ code • Entry of new Password

  6. Forgot Password Screen • The first screen in the Recovery process is the Forgot Password screen • You will chose to recover your password via Hint Q&A or Email Email Hint Q & A

  8. Hint Q & A Click the ‘Start’ button to begin recovering your password using Hint Q&A Hint Q & A

  9. Hint Q & A – ID Verification • Your full SSN and either User Name or Date of Birth are required and must match the information already on file at the EPSB • The picture code is additional online security and must be typed exactly as shown • Click the ‘Continue’ button to proceed

  10. Hint Q & A – Hint Answers • Type in answer to your one of your previously chosen Hint Questions • Click the ‘Continue’ button to proceed

  11. Hint Q & A – New Password • Provide and Confirm a new password containing a combination of at least 6 letters and numbers • Click the ‘Reset Password’ button to complete the recovery process

  12. Hint Q & A – Login • You will receive this confirmation screen when your Password has been successfully reset • Click the ‘Click here to Login’ link to access the EPSB login page

  13. Hint Q & A - Confirmation You will receive an email message each time you have successfully recovered (reset) your password

  14. Password Recovery Option 2 Email

  15. Email • Enter your full SSN, confirm SSN and Email address for verification against information already on file at the EPSB • Enter verification code from picture into textbox. • Click the ‘Recover Password’ button to proceed Email

  16. Email - Verification If the SSN and Email combination match information on file at the EPSB, you will receive verification on the screen and also via email Screen Verification Email Verification

  17. Email – Reset Link Click on the link provided in the Email Verification message to access the Reset Password screen Email Verification Click on this link before the expiry time indicated Link expiry time

  18. Email – New Password • Provide and Retype a new password containing a combination of at least 6 letters and numbers • Click the ‘Reset Password’ button to complete the recovery process

  19. Email - Confirmation You will receive an email message each time you have successfully recovered (reset) your password
