  1. How to Buy, Wear, and Store Perfumes How to wear perfume? -Frequently asked Questions. While working in perfumery as a webmaster for Fragrance Place, I received many emails and phone calls with questions about how to buy, wear and store perfume. So, I decided to write this article in the form of frequently asked questions. Q. How to buy and test new perfumes? A. That is a very good question. There are so many new fragrances on the market every year. I have seen many women go to one of these department stores and taste all kinds of fragrances one by one. This is of course wrong! First, stick to your brand, which you have trusted for years and know will work well with your skin chemistry. When trying a new dubai parfum or any parfum, apply a small amount to your skin and wear it for about half an hour. This will give time for the top notes (most often found in perfumes to make a first impression) to evaporate, and for the middle and finally base notes to react with your skin chemistry and reveal the real smell of the perfume. Don't do this with many scents at the same time, unless you refresh your scent palette with a coffee can. Q. Are all perfumes safe to wear? A. No, it depends on your personality. Most perfumes are safe to wear. However, there may be some ingredients in certain perfumes that you are allergic to. To find out, use the same method above, wearing the perfume sample for about an hour and observing the skin reaction. If there is no rash or itching, you can use this fragrance safely. Be careful with excessive perfume in public places. Some people may be allergic to certain smells or simply cannot smell certain smells for long. Some churches, for example, have special odorless sections for people with MCS multiple chemical sensitivities. Q. Where to apply perfume on the body? A. Probably everyone has their own opinion on how to wear perfume and where to apply it. A small amount of perfume should be applied first to the pulsating points of the body, including the inside of the wrists, the inside of the elbows, behind the knees and ears. The pulse helps to diffuse odors. Diffuse some perfume into the air and enter directly into it so that the fragrance spreads throughout the body. Always apply perfume starting at the bottom of your body and working your way up. Never rub your wrists together after applying perfume. This will loosen and crush the smell. Consider using the same fragrance in a variety of products, including bath gel, body lotion, after bath spray, and finally apply perfume, perhaps using a stronger EDP spray at the end. Never wear perfume on clothing or jewelry. This will definitely stain your clothes and may damage your jewelry.

  2. Q. Why does perfume smell so good on my friend and I can't wear it? A. Not all perfumes are right for you and your skin chemistry. There are four main factors that describe skin: perspiration (the more a person sweats, the weaker the odor), skin pH (affects odor molecules), skin profile (rougher skin retains fragrance longer), and skin fat content (higher fat content in skin ). Your skin retains fragrance longer.) Perfume can smell one way in the bottle or on someone else, but it smells completely different on you. There is a whole science of skin chemistry that is hard to explain in this short article. You just need to find the perfume that suits you best. Test the perfume as described in the first Q&A of this article. Q. Should I stick to one scent or change them often? A. This is also a very good question. There are perfumes for every occasion: daytime, evening, office or even for a romantic date. The best place to find out about recommended perfumes is the Internet and some perfume websites like Fragrance Place. You can browse fragrances and learn more about perfume notes and when to wear them. We must remember that perfumes are very sensitive to temperature. Cold temperatures will reduce the intensity of the aroma. Wear stronger perfumes like Eau De Parfum in winter and lighter ones like Eau De Toilette in summer. In summer, you can apply perfume more often during the day. Speaking of the romantic aspect of perfumery, there are many perfumes on the market today that contain pheromones, ingredients that attract the opposite sex. Some of the perfume notes, including jasmine, patchouli, sandalwood, rose, ylang ylang, and musk, are very well known for their aphrodisiac properties. But this is a topic for a separate article. Q. Where is the best place to store my perfume? A. Perfume is sensitive to light and temperature. A dark, dry place with a low temperature is the best place to store perfume. Some women keep bottles of Eau De Parfum in the fridge during hot summer days, but I think an under-sink cabinet would be good enough for long-term perfume storage. Most perfumes have a shelf life of about 3-5 years from the date of manufacture. However, with proper storage, it can last much longer. Spray type perfumes last longer than spray. Once the bottle is opened and air gets in, the parfum online can only be stored for about a year.
