  2. What It’s All About • The Doug Henderson III Memorial Fund was established in honor of Doug Henderson II, who, in 2002, was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, a rare form of soft tissue cancer. After a valiant fight against the disease, Doug passed away on September 6 2003.

  7. Baytree Pizza • Baytree Pizza was the only organization on my particular list this year that donated to the Doug Henderson Foundation.

  8. What did I get out of service Learning ? • Well I obviously got my hours for class, but I also learned a lot more. • I learned responsibility because of my procrastination. I found this out because I almost didn’t keep my word and that is all a man has in this world. • I found out how far a little will go. • I felt like I helped out in my own little way.

  9. Lasting Message • Those that give always have it given back to them. Even if someone is on there last they should still look to give rather than receive. If we all remember this than the world will be that much more of a better place.
