Setting and Character Setting character • This story takes place at school. • The places are in the gym and the classroom one hundred thirteen. • The character are Richard, Sherri, Noah, Mathew, Jill, Derrick, Alex, Dawn, Emily, Jason, Linda, Wayne, Timothy. If I was Richard I would be friends with Mathew

  3. Richard • Richard is good at art. Richard isn’t good at reading. He likes candy corn. Some times he can be a little greedy.

  4. Author’s Purpose • The problem is that Richard ate three pieces of candy corn. Richard had told Mathew what he had done. Then Mathew gave Richard three pieces of candy corn. Richard learned not to take things that are not yours. I learned not to cheat.

  5. Book Recommendation • I would recommend the book to a friend because it is about a contest. They made applesauce in the book. The book is funny.
