This year all the boys' moms and one dad signed the boys up for a pageant. The pageant happens to be on the same day as the game. What will they have to do to play in their game?

  3. Deep and Dark and Dangerousby Mary Downing Hahn Ali and Emma go to a vacation house where her mother and aunt went as children. Ali finds an old photo of the girls with a third person, who has been torn out of the picture. No one will tell her who it is. A mysterious friend talks about a girl named Teresa, who drowned many years before. She wants Teresa’s bones recovered from the lake. She takes Ali and Emma on a sinister boat ride, from which Ali fears they will not return.

  4. Elevenby Patricia Reilly Giff A boy named Sam is searching for his birthday present in the attic when he finds a newspaper clipping about himself. It says that he is missing. Sam wonders if the people he lives with are actually his family. A friend named Caroline helps to solve Sam's mystery. It's a great book that keeps you turning the pages, anxious to find out what lies ahead.

  5. The Lemonade Warby Jacqueline Davies Evan and his sister, Jessie, are nearing the end of their summer vacation when they find out that Jessie will skip a grade and be with Evan in the same class! Evan isn't as thrilled as Jessie. In fact, he's angry. Competition begins as they make a bet that states whoever earns $100 by Sunday night selling lemonade wins. The loser gives all of their money to the winner. It's a fun book with a lot of exciting competition.

  6. Sheepby Valerie Hobbs This is a story about a young collie who loves living on the ranch but is sold and now has a life on the street. He meets tons of friends and enemies along the way and gets lots of different names. He really misses the sheep at the ranch because that's all he dreams about! The ending is touching. This is a great story.
