  1. Make the Most of Mail in September Welcome to September (already!), Next Monday (September 6) is Labor Day – the unofficial end of summer here in the United States. It is almost time to pack up the barbecue, wipe off the sunscreen, and clear the pool. It’s back to school/work we go! The last 18 months have been extremely challenging. As a nation we have had to deal with a pandemic (two variants), a presidential election, ravaging wildfires across the western US, tropical storms, and the stories of global unrest that seem to be much too common these days. Still, the news has not all been bleak. We found a vaccine for COVID (more than one), and vaccination rates have slowly been rising. The Olympics took place and showcased the best new athletes from

  2. around the globe. We also got a little break with respect to mask mandates and social distancing earlier this summer. We have made it through this extraordinary period (so far) working together, sharing in the ups/downs, and supporting each other. These are the times when we need to work hardest on building rapport and investing in customer success The mail has an important role to play in this undertaking. America has a long- term connection with the mail. Ben Franklin was the first Postmaster General of the USPS (1775). Since that time, both consumers and businesses have grown to trust the mail with their most personal communication and as a source of timely special offers. As we head back to work/school, now is the time to let your customers know that you are ready to serve them. Use the mail to reach out and build trust. We are always here to help and support you.
