The cooperative education teacher arranges the interview for the male student and suggests that the female seek another placement because of the “difficulties she may encounter” at the auto placement. (negative)

The teacher discusses this concern with the student who agrees there has been an issue in other classes. The teacher researches the Ontario Student Record (OSR) and consults with the special education department to plan appropriate learning strategies. (positive)
