Our Methodology for Agile training If  you  simply  want  to  train  your  people  on  agile,  hire  a training company.  But  of  you  want  to  focus  your  teams  on  delivery, using  extremely  effective,  dynamic  approaches,  engage  us  at  one  of  these  key  events: • Taking  the  project  team  through  an  agile  workshop  using  the   project  they  are  tasked  with  delivering,  and  planning  how  to   best  execute  this  project   • Defining  a  new  project  up-­‐front,  and  organizing  it  for  success   • Rescuing  troubled  projects  by  applying  proven  techniques,  and enabling  the  team  to  deliver  the  highest  value  items  in  this  project

Tortillis Group  has  long  been  in  the  business  of  delivering  projects  and  software  products  although  we  have  worked  on products  for  engineering  and  sporting  goods  companies  too. • But we do more than simply deliver projects we  leave  behind  our  knowledge,  techniques,  approaches,  and  values  to  enable  our  clients  to  achieve  success  on  their  own,  without  us  always  “holding  their  hand”. • This  has  led  to  all  of  our  clients  growing  in  their  skills  and  confidence  to  deliver,  to  be  successful,  and  even  to redefine success  on  their  own  terms.

Project launch • How  do  you  launch  new  initiatives? •  Do  you  get  from  concept  to  working  product  in  as  short a  time  as  possible  days,  not  months?   This  workshop  is  designed  to  get  the  business  leading  the project,  defining  what  they  need,  and  asking  the  technical team  for  help  in  delivering  it.  You  then  take  the  outputs from  this  exercise  and  start  development,  showing  the  business  real  working  results  in  days,  or  at  most  in  a  couple  of  weeks!   NOTE:For a  typical  project,  this  workshop  takes  5  business  days. 1508 West 155th Street Burnsville MN 55306 +1 855 486 7845 http://www.tortillisgroup.com/

From  this  workshop  will  come  the  following  deliverables: • Identification of  the  reason  for  this  project,  and  metrics  to  define  its  success . • Identification of  the  people  and  organizations  that  will  be  impacted  by  this  project,  focusing  on  those  constituents who  can  make  this  project  successful.   • Identification of  what  we  want  the  constituents  to  do, including  both  those  behaviors  that  will  define  our  success, and those behaviors  that  may  limit  the  success  of  the  project.   • Identfication and  design  of  those  activities  the  project  team  must  undertake  to  maximize  the  chances  of  success  of  the  project.   • A prioritized  list  of  the  project  teams  activities. • A  proposed  minimal  set  of  activities  to  be  delivered,  and  a timeline  for  development  of  these  activities . • As  time  is  allows,  write  user  stories  for  the  most  important  pieces  of  functionality  to  be  delivered  first.

Following  the  project  launch,  we  are  available  for ongoing  project  monitoring,  delivery  coaching,  and introducing  new   techniques  to  aid  in  project   delivery.   • Our  Project  Launch  is  based  upon  the  “Impact  Mapping”  techniques  introduced  by  GojkoAdzic,  and  enhanced  by Paul Ellarby of  Tortillis Group.
