ProLiteracy America Update

ProLiteracy America fosters collaboration to strengthen adult literacy and basic education programs. With over 1,200 group and 1,376 individual members, it serves 206,720 students through extensive volunteer efforts, relying on 120,480 volunteers for support. The organization prioritizes professional development, offering training in various formats, including face-to-face and online, focusing on student engagement and assessment. Thinkfinity.org • Merger of Verizon Literacy Network (adult & family literacy) and Marco Polo (K-12) • Funded by Verizon Foundation • Content from national leaders (e.g., IRA, NCFL, PLA, NCTM, etc.) • Online education and literacy resources across the life span (free online courses, podcasts, downloadable resources, lesson plans, program assessment tools, etc.)
