Updated Ranking of Career and Technical Education Programs for 2011-2012 Enrollment

This document outlines the methodology for ranking career and technical education programs, developed by Kevin Hollenbeck from the Upjohn Institute. The rankings utilize a federal CIP-SOC crosswalk to identify relevant occupations, and integrate projected job openings from 2006 to 2016 along with the most recent median wage data from 2008. The process includes reviews from program consultants and advisory groups, ensuring an accurate list of occupations. This ranking will support funding decisions for the 2012-2013 academic year.
