  2. A cell is like a party because a party has different things to make it function like a cell has multiple things to make it function.

  3. A nucleus is like a host of a party because the host controls what is going on at the party like a nucleus controls the cell.

  4. The cell membrane is like a bouncer at a party because a bouncer controls who goes in and out of the party like the cell membrane controls what goes in and out of the cell.

  5. The cell wall is like the place where the party is held because the place is a structure that protects those at the party like a cell wall protects the inside of the cell.

  6. The endoplasmic reticulum is like the dance floor at a party because it is the passage for party goers like the endoplasmic reticulum is a passage for proteins.

  7. The Golgi apparatus is like the taxis that bring people to the party because a taxi transports people like the Golgi apparatus transports proteins.

  8. The mitochondrion is like the generators at a party for the building because they produce energy for the lights like a mitochondrion produces energy for the cell.

  9. The vacuole is like the trash can at a party because it stores waste from the party like a vacuole stores waste from a cell.

  10. The ribosome is like the caterers at a party because the caterer provides food for the party goers like a ribosome provides proteins for a cell.

They can be any shape but will have rounded edges. They have many small vacuoles. • They have a cell wall located on the outside of the cell. • They go through photosynthesis. • They have chloroplasts. • They turn green due to chlorophyll. • They are square shaped. • They have one large central vacuole. • The plant cell’s cell wall and the animal cell’s cytoskeleton provide structure and support. • Both cells go through cell respiration.
