  3. Opening • If we do not know the table manners………… We would be like this!!! How embarrassing!!!!!!!

  4. General Table manners • Stand up when lady leaves • Keep elbows off the table • Sit in decent pose • Napkin (on the lap) • Dishes (passed from left to right) • Fork and knife • Eat with fingers • Eat bread • Wine with stemmed-glass • Pour the drink

  5. American table manners • Prayer or blessing • Fork (with the tines-up) • Knife • Spoon • Beverages 6. When finished(with the fork at the 4 o'clock position)

  6. British table manners • Fork (with the tines-down) • Left-handed • Dishes should be passed from left to right. • Eating desserts • For resting or short leaving (with fork at 8 o'clock & knife at 4 o'clock) • When finished(with fork at 6 o'clock)
