  3. diminutive (adj) • Definition = smaller than usual; tiny • The diminutive kindergartner was afraid to get on the bus with the larger students.

  25. dehydrate (verb) • Definition = to become dry; to lose water • After running for half an hour, I became dehydrated and needed to drink some water.
