Congratulations to Shannon and Dustin on their engagement! They met at Geneva College and began as friends before love blossomed. On February 14, 2011, Dustin proposed at Morton's Steakhouse, one of Shannon's favorite places. In a humorous twist, he brought his huge camera to hide the ring, leading to a playful moment where Shannon thought he was joking when he popped the question. Their Story • Shannon and Dustin met in a summer class at Geneva College. They were friends for years first. He proposed on Valentine’s day. Dustin took Shannon to Morton’s Steakhouse (one of her favorite restaurants!). She teased him relentlessly for bringing his enormous camera in its enormous case (little did Shannon know that he brought it to hide the ring). When Dustin asked her to marry him, he didn’t have the ring out yet, so she thought he was joking. So Shannon’s first response was “are you kidding?” haha.
