Allergy and Intolerances Project Update: EHR Domain Analysis Model from HL7 WG Meeting 2013
This document outlines the significant updates from the Allergy and Intolerances Project presented at the HL7 Working Group Meeting in Atlanta, 2013. The Domain Analysis Model for Electronic Health Records (EHR) was balloted in January and May 2013 and is now ready for publication. It features various use cases related to allergies and intolerances, including observed new allergies, allergic reactions to medical devices, and reconciliation of allergy lists. Additionally, it discusses harmonization of terminology for EHR and Personal Health Records (PHR) and seeks co-sponsorship for further development.
