Believing the report of a survey conducted, 29 per cent of international professional bodies said they get promoted very soon as a result of relocating to India. Believing the report of a survey conducted, 29 per cent of international professional bodies said they get promoted very soon as a result of relocating to India. Around 58 per cent believes that India is a good place to pick up new work skills. Expats living in India usually have an love-hate association with the nation. What inspires the hate is common knowledge — the heat and dust, the dysfunctional civic systems and the time zone unique to India known as Indian Stretchable Time. Public delivery is normally now not a first-rate alternative — so must depend on cabs / dedicated shipping ● Food ​— If you are staying in a hotel, it gets hard to get quality food every day. If one isn’t picky then Indian food is just great — however, the majority would really like to have their personal space. ● Social Circle ​— This is probably the trickiest one, but now there are lots of forums where expats could catch up with people with similar interests, etc. ● Medical attention in case of emergency — May be a good idea to identify a reliable local clinic that one could go to for any emergency.
