  2. Physical traits • Arctic hare’s use their white fur to blend in with the snow. • This camouflage technique helps them hide from predators such as snow leopards and snow wolves.

  3. Behavior adaptations • To survive the harsh weather the arctic hare’s dig holes and huddle together to stay warm.

  4. Diet • Arctic hares are herbivores they eat: buds, berries, leaves, roots and bark.

  5. Predator or prey • Since the arctic hare is a herbivore it is prey to snow leopards and the snow wolves.

  6. Niche • The arctic hares niche is the primary consumer. It eats producers so when the secondary consumers eat the arctic hares the energy from the producer and the arctic hare are transferred into the secondary consumer.
