  1. Adventure Tours for Singles & Small Groups If you want to be technical, Europe isn’t a continent. In 420 BC the Greeks put it on record that Europe was a separate land from Asia with the River Phasis (today the Rioni river in Western Georgia) as its border. Of its 50 countries today there are still 5 that straddle Europe and Asia. Europe’s land area is 10.18 km square, making it the second smallest continent in the world (ok, we’re pretending it is one again) but it’s third in terms of population and has the largest country in the world, Russia, and the smallest, the Vatican State. The history and culture of Europe travel goes back to at least 30,000 BC, the approximate date of the famous cave paintings in Chauvet, France. Barcelona’s Sagrada de Familia has already taken longer to build than the pyramids in Egypt. It was started in 1882 and probably won’t be finished any time soon. The largest colony of ants in the world was found stretching from the Atlantic coast in Spain to northern Italy. That’s 6,000 kms, and you don’t even want to know how many ants. Bosnia and Herzegovina has one of the last rainforests in Europe travel - Perucica. To help conservation, it can only be explored in the company of park rangers. Most of Italy’s island of Sicily is hilly or mountainous - or volcano-ous (volcano-ey?), including Etna which last erupted in 2015. Still, 5 million people still live there happily. The food must be good. Circumnavigate the pristine clear waters of Croatia’s Plitvice Lakes (and a few stunning waterfalls to boot). The national park has 16 lakes to explore, and the area is surrounded by gorgeous forest. See the iconic Stari Most bridge that joins the Christian and Muslim sides of the town of Mostar, a beautiful piece of architecture that plays a symbolic role in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s turbulent history. Pitch a tent beside Slovenia’s Mreznica river - the perfect way to immerse yourself in Slovenia’s natural beauty. Literally, if you like swimming. Learn about the impact the 1986 explosion of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant had on the local people and the nuclear industry on a guided day tour in the Ukraine. Visit Sicily’s Mount Etna, an active stratovolcano (don’t know what that is? We’ll give you the lowdown). And while you’re here, enjoy the warmth of Italian culture and climate.

  2. Put on your lifejackets and raft through the Balkans on Montenegro’s stunning Tara river. You’ll see some incredible landscapes and experience a little white water on the way. At 4.58 million km square (30% of the world’s total land area), Asia is the world’s biggest continent. Its population of over 4 billion is also greater than all the other continents combined. We offer Asia adventure tours for singles and small groups. Asia has its highs and its lows - Everest and the Dead Sea, the highest and lowest points on land, are both found in this continent. The continent boasts some amazing animals. The tiger, giant panda, orangutans, Asian elephant, Indian rhinoceros, king cobra, and komodo dragon are all natives of Asia. It’s illegal to be fat in Japan. Maybe that’s one reason over 50,000 Japanese people have reached the age of 100 years.

  3. The majestic Mekong flows 4,350 kilometers from China to Vietnam and is home to the very endangered Irrawaddy dolphin which lives in fresh and saltwater, normally found around estuaries and river mouths. Now you can enjoy adventure travel to Asia, we offer Asia adventure tours for singles and small groups. Tinder not working out? Try lizards. In Cambodia, they say the number of times a gecko chirps indicates who you’ll marry. Get a first hand experience of one of Japan’s most iconic customs - the geisha - and learn about the real history, aesthetics, and cultural nuances that lie behind it. Visit a local Japanese school and see why Japan has such a highly ranked school system. We offer Asia adventure tours for singles and small groups. Teach English to local children in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Still recovering from its brutal recent history, this is an amazing chance to share your knowledge and help provide for a future of opportunity for young people while you also get to discover an authentic side of this country.

  4. Over 1,000 different languages are spoken by just over 1 billion people across Africa, and many of those are only spoken in Africa. There are an estimated 3,000 different tribes in the continent across its 54 countries. Africa adventure travel The Romans introduced the word “Africa” into Western use. It comes from two sources, the Latin “Aprica” which means “sunny” and the Greek “Aphrike” which means “without cold.” The latter is certainly not true - while the hottest temperature on Earth was recorded in Libya at 57.8°C, Africa’s lowest ever temperature was -24°C in Morocco in 1935. The world’s largest river, desert, and fresh water lake are all found in Africa. The Nile is 6,853 km long, Lake Victoria covers a whopping 68,800 km square, and the the Sahara is 9.2 million km square - almost the size of the entire United States. The world’s oldest human remains were found in Ethiopia - they’re about 200,000 years old. The Pharaonic civilization of ancient Egypt, the oldest literate culture, goes back to about 3300 BC. Tanzania has the largest concentration of wild animals per km square. It has about 4 million wild animals and around 430 species (or subspecies). It’s also home to the world’s largest crab, the coconut crab. Morocco boasts Africa’s highest ski resort. But don’t expect powdery snow to ease your fall if you crash - snowfall is normally 20 cm deep maximum.
