  1. TRG TRG HOW IMPORTANT IS YOUR CYBER SECURITY Would you be satisfied living in a residence that someone else had the key to? What if an underground tunnel channeled into it from a public playground, or its windows could never quite close all the process? Would you believe it with your protection and your privacy? The internet is that house. This is not to say never go into the house, but first, you should understand the dangers before you put all of your valuables there and do what you can to guard them. So why is it protected, and why can’t we just fortify it until it’s protected? Well, first of all, the internet was not built to be what it is now. All internet traffic would be controlled and monitored by bots and people, massively restricting the number of websites you could visit. To log onto a website you’d have to type in a 100 character pass code, submit a genetic unit, and whistle a tune. The servers that contain data would be put in heavily armed forts. And also with all of these defenses in place, some clever hacker would almost absolutely still get a step in. The great news is, even with our flawed internet, there are simple actions you can do to guard yourself, and there are a group of people assigned to making the internet more safe. It’s like someone decided to develop a shoebox into a skyscraper. The internet was originally formed when computers were large and so valuable to keep those only universities, big companies, and some governments had them. The case, originally, was to let these extensive supercomputers communicate with each other. And as soon as two computers could send data back and forth, we had a network. The network slowly developed, until personal computers developed in the 1980s, and then it collapsed. In Cyber Security Cape Town, you‘ll play as one of these people, protecting a company that is the target of increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks. You must continuously strengthen your protection to thwart these attackers. You will do this by achieving hurdles that will provide you basic coding skills, assist you spot scams designed to trick you into giving up your codes, and guide you on how passwords are cracked and strengthened. The internet may be built on a doubtful foundation, but it’s been home to discovery and an unparalleled free change of approaches. It’s up to us to make it comfortable despite its flaws. Quickly people were not just communicating with each other, but also transferring money, playing games, reading news, shopping, and doing everything we connect with the internet now. Different devices began communicating to the system also mobile phones, and cars, and fridges, and lifts and power plants, and much much more. But the rest of all of those devices communicating to each other came at a price: security. house that is the One computer could send another instruction to remove everything on it or get it over, we call these viruses and malware. Or one person could steal another’s identification by picking, cracking, or obtaining a password. Vulnerabilities such as these will never totally go away because they’re developed into the internet’s very structure. Company Name: TRG Occupation: Information Technology and Services South Africa Mobile: 087 470 0506 Email: support@trg.co.za Website: https://www.trg.co.za/ Opening Hours: 24 Hours Open Criminals use them to keep billions of dollars, authorities use them for inspection, and hacktivists use them to further their political aims. Between 2004 and 2013, over 1 billion documents of private information were stolen or flowed through data breaches of larger corporations. As a thinking analysis, let’s assume what a well-protected internet might look like. Users would not be permitted to download or install anything on their computers. www.trg.co.za/
