  3. Refrigerated Air Dryers: • Refrigerated air dryers are frequently used in industrial settings since they are simple to maintain, inexpensive, and don't need many particular conditions. The industrial refrigerated air drier operates in a manner akin to that of a home refrigerator or air conditioner:   • Warm, humid air is drawn into the air dryer. • In a refrigeration system, it is quickly chilled to a temperature just above freezing. • Condensed water is created from the water vapour. • Water is trapped and then released through discharge lines. • In a condenser, the hot, gaseous refrigerant is cooled and replenished. • After that, room temperature dry air is heated and fed through an outlet.

The first tower is used to dry the air, and the second tower regenerates consumed desiccant. Heat, dry air purging, or a combination of the two are used to drive off moisture. Purge air is used in the dry air process to remove moisture, which can make up to 18% of the overall air flow. The desiccant dryer's dew point value is roughly 40°F, although it may be lowered to -100°F. With identical dew points, the heated process has a heater in the circuit. Approximately 8% of the air leaving the drying tower is redirected via valves and sent through the heater. The captured moisture is then released to the outside as the hot, dry air is passed through the regenerating tower. The price plays a significant role in selecting a desiccant-type air dryer. A heated drier might regenerate with roughly half of the compressed air, but they take a lot of electricity. A heatless drier can save a lot of electricity. You should keep in mind the price of routine desiccant bed replacements with these dryers, which typically need to be done every 3-5 years.

  5. Membrane Air Dryers:  • A specially created, permeable membrane that permits water vapour to pass across it is a component of a membrane air dryer. To reach the necessary pressure points, a substantial purge air loss is needed. The membrane in this method can become clogged with oil and other impurities, but it has inexpensive installation and operation costs and no moving parts. Low-volume operations, outdoor installations, or hazardous settings are where this sort of dryer excels.
