  2. Design Problem Future plans call for double width preform board during the O3 process in the textile department. This final design should reduce overall waste and increase plant efficiency. Basic Requirements • Create a solution that will be able to transport double width preform boards to O4 for laser cutting. • Eliminate manual labor involved in the current process • Make sure that it is safe for all involved • Incorporate automatic transport with push button controls • It must properly align the preform board • Minimize cycle time needed for this process • Layout changes are acceptable if needed • Consider multiple unique design ideas
