BA468X: Assignments Due Winter Term • Collect feedback on “Commercialization Assumptions and SWOT analysis” from your mentor and/or inventor (by Monday, 3/12) • Prepare a two-minute elevator speech on your IP and proposed commercialization plan (to be presented in class, Wed, 3/14) • Turn in a written “Commercialization Assumptions and SWOT analysis” of at least two approaches (due end of day Wed, 3/14)
Elements of the Elevator Speech • Short, concise, and compelling!! • Be sure to include the following elements • Problem that is solved • Customers and how they will benefit • Revenue potential or status • New applications or opportunities- extensions of technology • Who is interested or collaborating (drop a few names) • What action is needed from your listener- money, collaboration, contacts, etc
