Fitness Facility Fitness Facility After testing the newly installed club saunas prior to their climbing gym's grand opening, Brooklyn Boulders general contractor reached out to Tri State for assistance when their facilities' sprinkler systems malfunctioned leaving many brand new flooring and wall surfaces completely saturated with water. In an effort to help keep their grand opening on track, Tri State came out to assist! Tri State responded to the afterhours emergency request quickly to avoid unnecessary secondary damages. Once onsite, our technicians performed a thorough evaluation of the damages including moisture monitoring of several different types of new construction materials, produced a scope of work and began the water intrusion extraction process. All rooms were disinfected and thoroughly cleaned twice during this process. High powered industrial fans, dehumidifiers, air purifiers and odor control equipment were placed to continue enhancing the drying process by reducing the amount of environmental moisture and to remove the musky odor. Affected rooms included the gym’s locker rooms, sauna area, dance studio, equipment room and main hall.
