  2. Frank Lloyd Wright • Born in Richland Center, Wisconsin on June 8th, 1867. • Went to the University of Wisconsin. • Lived in Spring Green, Wisconsin and built his house Taliesin Taliesin

  3. Wright’s houses were constructed with simple building materials. Wood looked like wood, and brick was the color of the clay it was made from.   4. PRAIRIE STYLE Wright believed the interior and exterior of a home should go together as well as suiting the people who would live in the house. Prairie houses were did not have attics or basements, which he thought of as storage places for things that should be thrown away. Without a basement to separate it from the earth, the prairie house appeared to be planted in the ground.
