Collaboration Practitioners Network Meeting January 21, 2010

On January 21, 2010, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) hosted a meeting aimed at enhancing collaboration among practitioners focused on protecting human health and the environment.   4. Public Involvement/Collaboration Work Where is it located? - No where and everywhere. There is not a single unit responsible for coordinating policy and planning/delivering activities - There are special emphasis organizations serving Tribal, Environmental Justice, Children’s Health - All Offices and Regions have staff who Engage the public in one, some or all parts of EPA’s Public Involvement Spectrum Implement the Agency’s Public Involvement Policy Work with communities to solve environmental problems
