AIM: To coordinate, facilitate and advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities in sport, physical activity and physical education throughout Ireland
Facilitate, support and provide ongoing support to all Local Sports Partnerships in increasing the number of people with disabilities participating in sport and physical activity. • Provide information, guidance and advice on Adapted Physical Activity (APA) , Adapted Physical Education (APE) and Disability Sport • Advocate for the inclusion of people with disabilities in Sport, Physical activity and Physical Education • Support and influence Local Sport Partnerships, National Governing Bodies of Sport, Disability Organisations, Schools, Colleges and all organisations
Develop and facilitate courses/workshops at all levels to provide a range of training and education opportunities • Undertake and coordinate research • Assist and support developments of National and Local physical activity strategies • Develop national/international links with relevant APA/APE agencies
