Energy for Life • Timing: May 1st to October 31st 2015 • Participants: 142 participating countries + Corporate pavilions (e.g. Coca-Cola, Apple, and many more) • Visitors: • 20-30 million visitors expected (40% Italian) • 1 billion virtual visitors • Audience: business, government delegations, public institutions, regulatory authorities, policy makers, consumers • Importance: historical showcase of innovation and contribution to progress (e.g. light bulb, elevator, diesel engine, ice-cream, touchscreen, etc.) • USA Pavilion: showcase innovation and responsibility as a core of America’s values

WHY ? • Johnson & Johnson has been vetted by the State Department as one of the most innovative, respected and responsible companies reflecting the theme of the USA pavilion • Johnson & Johnson is not only a worldwide leader in R&D and innovation, but also sets best practice examples of corporate responsibility, citizenship and community involvement • Johnson & Johnson can help deliver exciting programming on innovation in regards to improving the world’s health and more sustainable lifestyles • Johnson & Johnson is a premium player in the B2B and B2C space reflecting the tradition and best standards of American companies

Benefits of participation • Johnson & Johnson could engage with members of top European institutions and regulatory bodies to discuss policies and progress on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and other regulatory issues • Become a content provider through sponsoring our visual guides on healthier lifestyles: our auditorium could feature films showing Johnson & Johnson’s efforts in contributing to a healthier world • Invite important stakeholders to the pavilion’s VIP space for business meetings or receptions for smaller delegations • Help drive programming content for exhibitions, TED talks, conferences and seminarstoengage with the leading players in pharmaceutical, medical devices and consumer goods industries • Joining entertainment and evening events during Expo and organizing customer meetings and events in our nearby James Beard restaurant featuring a lounge and a fine dining area in partnership with several well-known chefs

BECOMING A PARTNER • Partnership opportunities range from 1 to 5 million dollars depending on the level of involvement • We envision Johnson&Johnson to be one of the five Global Sponsor of the USA Pavilion contributing with 5 million dollars • Partners committing by March 15th might have the opportunity to meet with President Obama on March 27th in the occasion of the signing in Rome of the USA’s Participation Contract with Expo 2015
