Site Description • A comprehensive database of organizations and agencies that provide community service to Pike County residents • A cornerstone of the Information and Referral System in Pike County working towards a *2-1-1 system • An initiative of Pike United Way
www.PikePaHelp.org • From the “home” page and site menu • Choose the way you want to search for information: • Click in center of page on a category of service • Human, Education, Health, Public, etc. • Use the “search” feature • Select a destination button on the menu at the left of the screen
1) Search by Category • Click on one of the categories in the center of the home page • A more specific list or subcategories related to the main category appears • Click on one of these items for a list of agencies that provide services in the area you selected • Click on the agency name for more information about the agency

2) Use the “Search” Feature • Click on “search” listed with the categories in the center of the home page • Enter one or more keywords related to your search • Click “go” and a list of agencies that have any of your keywords in their descriptions will appear • Repeating your search with various keywords (and combinations) will result in more comprehensive results • Click on the agency name for more information about the agency

Community Services Directory • Click on this destination button to see the “categories” of services • Human, Education, Health, Public, etc. • Begin as described in 1) Search by Category • Options “view all” and “search” are also available • “View all” gives an alphabetical list of all agencies • Click on the agency name for more information about the agency
Community Events • Click on this destination button to see a list of community events in and around Pike County.
Job Positions & Volunteers Needed • Click on one of these destination buttons to view a list of positions • Click on a position title for more information about the position • Click on the agency name for information about the agency • The “Job Positions” section has a link to Pennsylvania’s Career Link (off site)
