BRIEF FOR THE COURSEWORK: Your band/artiste are currently recording their debut album. Your role is to produce the promotional poster.
Band Fact file: What do you need to consider? • Genre: what kind of music is it? • Who is in the band/Who is the artiste? Names, ages, personalities? • Who are your intended audience? • Create an audience profile. • How should the band be represented to them? • Image (positive or negative). • What codes and conventions you could use to make sure that your design appeals to your audience? Try some out and record them on your sheets. • Colour, font, image, title, layout. You have 30 minutes
