  2. Red Physiological Effect Red can Increase blood pressure and stimulate the adrenal glands. This helps us become stronger, and then, increases our stamina. You seem more powerful while wearing red. Psychological Effect Red is called the color of vitality and ambition, but also can represent anger. Red can be associated with negative thoughts and can make one irritable.

  3. Orange Physiological Effect Orange can be can be helpful to the digestive system and can strengthen you immune system. Psychological Effect This color has only shown to have positive affects on your mood. This color relieves feelings of self pity, lack of self esteem, and unwillingness to forgive. Orange can also work as an antidepressant.

  4. Yellow Physiological Effect Yellow has been known to stimulate the brain. This can color can make you more alert and decisive. This color can make you more energetic and it also activates the lymph system. Psychological Effect Yellow is a happy and uplifting color. Yellow can also be associated with good judgment and clear thinking. Yellow helps you build confidence and can dull feeling that bring on fear.

  5. Green Physiological Effect Green is known to be good for your heart and can bring on feelings of relaxation. Green relaxes our muscles and helps us breathe deeper and slower. Psychological Effect Green helps balance and soothe our emotions. It creates feelings of relaxation and comfort. Yet darker greens can have the opposite effect. Note that sickened cartoons always turn green.

  6. Blue Physiological Effect Blue has been proven to lower blood pressure. Blue also makes us calmer and helps to regulate sleep patterns. Dark blue has also been shown to keep bone marrow healthy. Psychological Effect The color blue is usually associated with the night therefore making us calmer and more relaxed. Blue is also useful in eliminating insomnia and like yellow gives our minds clarity.

  7. Purple Physiological Effect Purple has been known to alleviate conditions such as sunburn because of its antiseptic effect. Its has also been shown to eliminate hunger and regulate your metabolism. Indigo a lighter purple has been used as anesthesia because of its numbing effect. Psychological Effect Purple has been used to cure mental disorders because it has been used to eliminate fears.
