  5. Minimum Recommended Distance From Loading Pad and Storage Area: 200 ft - House and Surface Water 150 ft – Private Well 50 ft - Fuel Storage and Public Road 25 ft - Property Line and Pressurized Water Line

  6. A Separate Building for Storage is Preferred

  7. Use Fire-Resistant Building Materials

  8. Seal the Floor of the Facility

  10. Floor Drains

  11. Exhaust Fans • Ventilate the Area

  12. Exhaust Fan for Ventilation and Temperature Control

  13. Provide a Separate Heat Source

  14. Explosion-Proof Electrical Fixtures May Be Required

  17. Store Pesticides in a Locked, Secure Place

  23. Do Not Store Pesticides With: • Food • Feed • Potable Water • Seeds • Protective Equipment

  24. Never Place Pesticide Containers in Windows

  25. Store Pesticides in Original Containers • Never Repackage Pesticides • Always Keep the Label Fixed to the Container
