  3. She has also said that opera, classical and Brazilian popular music as having inspired the upbeat energy of her stripes, lines, circular forms, and rays. Geometric Shape- shapes that have hard, defined lines and angles such as squares, triangles, rectangles Organic Shape- an irregular shape, or one that may be found in nature

  4. Beatriz has said her influences have come from Henri Matisse, Wassily Kandinsky, and Robert Delaunay.

  5. “I need to have all these elements and put them together.” Beatriz Milhazes uses carefully chosen SHAPE, COLOR, LINE, SPACE to create her artworks. You will be using all of these elements in your artwork.
