1. Class Newsletter Ms. Hughes Room 15 Sept. 1st– Sept. 5th Class News Please make sure your child returns his/her homework every Friday. I do grade the homework. They get up to 10 points for their reading log and 10 points for the remainder of the homework. Please include the extra pages for the spelling practice. If they choose to do Spelling City, just write that down on the packet. For the reading log, they get a point for every 10 minutes they read. Monday, Sept. 1 – No School The blue communication folder must come back to school every day. I send notes home in the folder and students record where they are on the behavior clip chart for you to see. . Homework Please practice spelling words with your child each night. There will be a test on Friday. Please have help your child memorize their sight words by practicing each night. They can be on the Spelling Test on Friday. Please read 20 minutes a night with your child and complete the reading log. 4. Please complete all of the homework pages. 5. Please complete any 3 spelling activities. Spelling City can also be done.
