Supporting student learning and assessment in practice settings

This study explores how the implementation of PebblePad can transform student assessment and learning in nursing placements. Aimed at replacing bulky paper records and improving communication between students, mentors, and universities, PebblePad facilitates regular feedback and reflection on clinical experiences. While there are challenges such as mentor reluctance and accessibility issues, the positive impact on student progress tracking and assessment transparency indicates a strong potential for improving the nursing education framework. Ongoing evaluation and redesign will ensure the platform remains effective.
